Agricultural machinery dealer MST, won two awards at the recent Devon County Show reaffirming their position as a leading supplier of specialist land machinery to South West farmers the Groundcare industry and associated businesses.
The Tiverton based company who can trace their roots back to 1830 also have a showroom at Lee Mill near Ivybridge, were awarded the 1st prizes for the Most Attractive Trade Stand at the show as well as the Best Agricultural Machinery stand by the President of the Devon County Agricultural Association Hon. George Lopez.
The MST exhibit showcased a range of Agricultural, Groundcare and Garden Machinery equipment including the full range of Massey Ferguson tractors. The centre piece of the stand was the New Massey Ferguson 7360 Beta combine that showcased the latest technology available from Massey Ferguson Harvesting. Visitors to the stand were greeted by long serving Office Manager Sue Westlake who provided excellent hospitality from the impressive exhibition unit while the well-presented MST sales team assisted with any product queries and booked on site demonstrations with customers for the week following the show. Speaking about the show Head of Sales, at MST Graham Joll said ‘The show is a great platform for us to showcase what the business has to offer, to spend time with our loyal customers and meet some new ones. It’s a great opportunity to show the public the wide range of quality products and services available from us and introduce them to the MST brand. It gives us chance to reaffirm our position as one of the South West’s premier Agricultural dealerships and to show our commitment to the future of farming. The future of agriculture is incredibly important to us and that’s why we are proud to remain as the main sponsor of Devon Young Farmers club who also exhibited at the show.’
MST was purchased by the Longhouse group almost 12 months ago who are a South West based investment group investing in key businesses throughout the region. Longhouse continues to make considerable investment into MST and to strengthen the business for the benefit of their customers both now and in the future.
MST are one of oldest Agricultural dealerships in the country, a long history of sales and service for brands such as Massey Ferguson, Kubota and Honda and have recently acquired the Nugent Trailers dealership for Devon and Somerset.
The company intends to invest in other new franchises and to underpin this growth is increasing staffing levels in both their Agricultural Service, Parts and Sales departments. The recent upgrade to their Tiverton showroom brings new and innovative products to compliment the newly designed interior.
